Grand Seiko Elegant Series

Grand Seiko launches new Elegance series. The new line comes in four different models, equipped with a hand-wound movement with an auxiliary seconds counter.

The Elegance Collection is a new line from Grand Seiko, consisting of four new models and two limited editions. The new model comes in a 39 mm x 11.6 mm case, designed in the style of Grand Seiko and slightly modified to suit the slim elegance of the new collection. The case is equipped with scratch-resistant sapphire crystal on both sides.

Another striking feature of the new model is the dial design. There are Arabic numerals at 12 and 6 on the dial, and the rest of the time scales are in the shape of swords, which complement the hands. The dial is slightly domed, giving it a vintage-inspired look, and comes in black, blue, brownish red and white tones. The power reserve indicator is at 3 o'clock, while the small seconds dial rotates at 9 o'clock, a first for Grand Seiko.

The new model is powered by caliber 9S63. The 33-jewel hand-wound movement provides a 72-hour power reserve when fully wound. In addition to hours and minutes, the movement also features a power reserve indicator and small seconds function. The movement is adjusted to -3 seconds and +5 seconds per day according to Grand Seiko standards.

This collection of models comes with black, brown and blue alligator leather straps.

Grand Seiko USA Exclusive Limited Edition

Grand Seiko decided to continue its activities under its own brand instead of SEIKO, launching a new series of limited edition models designed exclusively for the United States, one of the most important regions on the luxury watch market.

The launch of these US-exclusive limited edition watches comes as Grand Seiko announces that its first independent non-Japanese corporate entity will be established in the United States, with Grand Seiko targeting the name Grand Seiko America, Inc. (GSA).

The new watch is powered by the brand's ultra-precise movement Grand Seiko Spring Drive 9R15/65. The dial mimics the Japanese painting technique Kira-zuri, which means "gleaming painting." The dial is crafted to complement each metal, helping the watch achieve the elegant look of a Grand Seiko. The dial layout is typical Grand Seiko, with precision-cut appliqué markers, a classic date window at three o'clock, and a power reserve indicator between seven and eight o'clock.
